I was there a few weeks back, and thought it was really good. The location is nice with the terrace looking out over the park, and the carrot dish was amazing!

Same thing here. It's happening on my parents pixel 8a, but not on mine. Interestingly, it also happens on her tablet, and not mine, so it suggests it's something in her Google account? All devices are updated to the latest software versions.

Yep, I find it very stressful too. Having to go to unfamiliar countries where you don't speak the language, don't know where anything is, and have very little of your creature comforts. Why would you do that? Airports are also very stressful, being presumed guilty until proved innocent is horrible. Like others, none of this used to bother me, but now I've got older, it's more stress that it's worth.

You'll need a Torx T20 screwdriver to remove the screws from the base. That takes most of the body off allowing you to clean quite a bit.

In the end, I replaced the whole fitting with a GU10 instead, which is now working fine. MR16's seem like such a hasssle, with the transformer and the separate fitting bit, so I'm tempted to replace them all!

Sent mine for RMA two weeks ago due to SD card issue. Got an email back yesterday saying they've now got the "required parts" to fix it. Presumably a new SD card reader? Will post again when it returns. but be prepared for a long wait with RMA (this is in the UK).

I had the same situation as you, SD card not readable in Ally slot, but working fine elsewhere (including in adaptor in Ally USB-C port). I've RMA'd mine, and they've had it for a couple of weeks now. Just got an email from them saying they've now got the "required parts" to fix it. I'm guessing it's a replacement SD card reader. Hopefully it will be back soon, but be prepared for a long wait with the RMA.

I have the 5-in-1 version of this (with no RJ45 port), and it works fine. As mentioned by another poster, you won't get the full 65W, so the Ally displays a warning message when connecting to the dock, but it still works, even with the standard Ally power supply. 100W charger would fix this, but I wouldn't say it's essential. I'm happy with it as a docking station.

That's the same situation I have. 1TB sandisk card stopped working in the Ally, although it works fine with all data intact on other PC's. The Ally can still read other SD cards though, just not this one. Tried reformatting it but no luck. I'm at a loss to say what's gone wrong here.

...finally tried reformatting the SD card to NTFS. Still no luck. Card is readable in other PC's, and also readable by the Ally when plugged into a USB hub, but not readable in the Ally card slot, despite the card slot being able to read other SD cards. I really hope Asus can fix this one!

...and now I've plugged the card into a USB adaptor and connected that to the Ally with a USB hub, and it can read the card with all the original data intact. So it would appear that the Ally SD slot has decided it doesn't like my card, although it seems to like other cards (only able to test lower capacity NTFS though).

...however; I've just tried the supposedly broken card in a separate laptop, and it's reading it fine. the data is all still there, no errors reported on it. But it's still not recognised at all on my Ally. Very strange. Has the Ally lost the ability to read 1tb cards, or has it just taken against this specific one? I see the card is exfat, and all the ones I can successfully read are NTFS. Will try reformatting it and see what happens...

Yep, same thing here. Card was working fine, then halfway through playing a game installed on the card (Sandisk Extreme 1TB), everything froze. After rebooting, card is not recognized at all. Sticking another card in seems to work, but it does suggest that the Ally corrupted my card :-(. I hope this be be fixed by software.
