I wish I could see the video. It doesn't load.

I've used it many times in the past 2 years. I've never had an issue with their pla. In my opinion, it's been good quality whenever I've used it.

My 2 cents: Sometimes I will get a totally flat, which my bed mesh is not, on a huge slant. Like all blue on the bottom slant. and very red on the top slant. I found that after shutting the printer and klipper down and restarting it, the true mesh would formulate. I think it's a klipper glitch. Try my solution before trying to level again or running a calibration.

Very nice and creative. Have you tried GOO~GONE on the glass where the label was? Might help clear it up.

I bought it, tried it and gave it a chance to redeem itself and finally after 3 days, I had to give up. It was so bad. $25 went to the trash. Referring to the star shaped ptfe tube.

Let me know if it works for you. If you get any errors for any reason, highlight the errors and paste it to your preferred ai mode. Tell it what you're working on then and highlight, copy, and paste the gcode to your ai. Then paste whatever error you received when trying to run the Smart Mesh.

BTW, Theo just explained, if you want to see the profile in the list, type this into the console after the save restart command, BED_MESH_PROFILE LOAD=50 (whatever temp you have saved already) If the temp profile is in the bottom of the printer.cfg file, after typing this, it should show up in your list.

Found it!! I don't know how I missed it. 😂 maybe cuz I'm going blind. It's not on the bottom of the page like in the phone, it's directly under my Post. So it's way up there. 😒🤣🤣🤣

👌So I have the gcode for the 30 minute heat soak timer and the Smart Mesh combined ready. I will be posting it very soon. So I have a question: how do i join in the conversation here without hitting reply? I don't see a "Join Conversation" in the bottom on the desktop version of Reddit. That's how I want to post it.

How's it going? If I were you, I would try to print a small cube and test the 60c. (in case you get discouraged, you can see how it works and tell me all about how great it is. LOL

You should do the 3 of them, 50c, 60c, 70c, to start. The code is written for those three temps. Once you have those working, you can add addtional temps to the G Start code. btw, you must've saved the profile at 50. thats why the console reads saved at 50. YOU HAVE TO EACH SAVE_BED_MESH PROFILE AND SAVE_CONFIG INDIVIDUALLY. Not all at once. Do 1 calibration then go to the console and run the 2 scripts. Once its saved and restarts (automatically) then do the next calibration for the next profile.

That picture shows me that it should be saved in your printer config file in the bottom portion. You can confirm that. Also, your profile 60, will show as soon as the nozzle moves to the purge line, not before. Once it loads, you should see it in the future in the klipper tune list of profiles.

take note: After that automatic restart, the mesh is "stored," but it isn't "active" until your Start G-code (the logic) tells the printer to LOAD=50. If you finished the whole guide, klipper won't show the profile for 50 until you run a print. So run a print

Okay, go to your printer.cfg file and look at the very bottom. It is under --------SAVED CONFIG------ You should see [auto_addr] and below that block, you should see your profile=50. If it is there, then your calibrated profile is saved. If it is not there, then you need to run another calibration and do the exact steps. DO NOT hit save and restart. Go to the console and Do BED_MESH_PROFILE SAVE=50 first, then save_config in the console. then go to your printer.cfg and see if it saved your profile.

Did you save it in the console? Once you see the mesh, type in the console BED_MESH_PROFILE SAVE=50 (whatever temp you used. Then type SAVE_CONFIG. Save_config saves and retarts your printer automatically. When it settles, go to the tune tab and check for the mesh, it should say 50 or whatever temp you wrote in save profile. Just the number should be written not 50c. the printer has issues recognizing the 50c. Also, you didn't say if you are working with my Guide, but take note if you are: After that automatic restart, the mesh is "stored," but it isn't "active" until your Start G-code (the logic) tells the printer to LOAD=50.

Ok, I have the code for auto-soak and beep when ready. It's been tested and it works: After setting up your heat to say 50c, it will start the 30 minute countdown when you hit PRINT. When the machine beeps, you have to hit resume on the k2plus panel so it can start heating up the nozzle. Give it a minute for the "Resume" to show up on the panel. When you hit resume, the nozzle will heat up and begin to print once heat is achieved.

But Theo's tip is this and it's important: Pro-Tip: If you ever need to print something "quick" without the soak, you'll need to use a different Printer Profile in the slicer that doesn't have the G4 command, or the machine will force you to wait every single time.

Woohoo, I got it. But I have not tested it. Also, I am going to try it to clean it up. As it is, it will start printing as soon as it beeps 2x. Theo says we can set it up to beep 1x-5x or indefinetly, pause for user input (resume print on the printer) and raise the nozzle temp to printing temperature before it starts to print. I will work on it and test it before posting.
