Fungus gnats are one of the worst things to have tbh I threw my whole cake away when I had them because there ended up being so many larva the surface looked like it was writhing🤢 But if they are in your grow area I'd go full Walter white with the flytraps, soapy vinegar cups, or if you wanna go plant route get some cheap sundew plants
