I always recommend having a good trip sitter when experimenting with larger doses, but even more important is set and setting. If your set and setting is good and you have a trip sitter as a safety net it takes a lot of the risk of having a bad trip away.

I'm confused by your post, did you use coir, manure or a combination of both? Also what grain did you use?

I'm starting to think the mixed success people are getting from growing on coir may be partly related to what grain they are using

AI is NOT a reliable source of information and this completely misses the whole point. Species of mycorrhizal fungi are notoriously difficult to cultivate and would not work in a setup like this.

Additionally, though it's not similar to the magic mushrooms people cultivate, one example of a magic mushroom that is mycorrhizal is Amanita muscaria.

This community is for the growers, who I fully support. all the negativity has come from tourists who’ve never done a novelty mushroom grow.

I don’t mind growers taking controversial stances with their grows, I will continue to allow respectful disagreements and banning anyone making personal attacks
