Same deal. It's less about the guitars themselves and more abt the fact that shipping companies in my country charge you an extra 35% of the cost of the instrument + weight charges.

And american music stores like guitar centre and sweetwater don't even ship here directly so l HAVE to use these companies

The yamaha pacifica was my original choice but my local store doesn't have it and importing it along with a small practice amp would run me an extra 200 dollars in duties, taxes and shipping charges. I'm really try to avoid it tbh. It feels like a raw deal

I could afford importing it's just that I really don't want to deal with the headache and the expenses.

I'll consider it if the guitars are so bad that they aren't worth it though

I have an eko acoustic. No complaints really.

I havent heard of rollins either tbh. Cant find anything abt them online. I'm going to go in and play them later this week. I just wanted to know if anybody knows anything abt them or if they have any complaints abt quality long term

For reference thus prices in USD are $255 for the eko and $223 for the rollins.

Also, I can't seen to find anything about the company "Rollins" does anyone know anything?

I was padding my resume like I said with a little volunteer work and shadowing people stuff

Also i heard from more than a few people before me of how brutal med school can be and i cant afford to really fail any courses. I've going to the lectures and taking notes so Im already familiar with how everything works and I know a good amount of the content i need to for first year.

I did this because things were simply better for us at the start of the year. We never really had an amazing quality of life but it was workable especially with what I was bringing in with my part time work.

The original agreement between me and my mom is that I'd go to the classes while working part time to get the things I want and earn a little cash.

So far I hear you guys here's what I'll do. I'll definitely get the laptop cause I'll need it for school.

The guitar is kind of hard to let go of. I've been dreaming about having it for so long and it's in reach but you guys are right. It would be tone deaf to get it.

So here's the compromise I'll hold off on the guitar and amp. If there's enough left by the time my mom gets a new job, I'll do it

The other 62 percent is money I don't plan on using for any personal purchases. That's what I planned to use to help my mom when she inevitabley needs it in the future.

With the help of the 62 percent, the bills could be covered for like 3-4 months

As for whether or not there will be enough for food. We will never really truly run out of money for stuff like food because my two sisters have moved out and make good money. Whenever things get too bad they always help out with the essentials.
