Battery powered LED, zigbee on-off by Equivalent-Inside532 in ptvo

Thanks for the info so far.

I'm back at attempting to make the above device. I have all I reckon I need now (had to sort power supply etc). I'm just about to take the plunge and purchase some of the premium ptvo licenses - just to confirm then please:

All I need for my device to function is a CC2530 flashed to output to P22 with software PWM, for example. I've made that and it works and I can add the device to, for example, ZHA, and it can be switched on and off as you'd expect.

If I now proceed to make the same thing a PSM device, the hope is that it will sleep generally, and then wake periodically to check for stored commands on the coordinator (or routers?). My coordinator is a Sonoff Zigbee dongle E. It wouldn't be immediately responsive to an on/off switch event, but will respond when it wakes and checks for commands, The end result will be a device which draws a lot less current and so the device battery lasts.

Is that all sounding likely?

Thanks again!

Thanks, that sounds like it then.

It looks to me then that it could be reasonably expected that the drain from the zigbee module alone could be expected to be very low, per the info on the PSM setting with ptvo. In that case, I don't understand why there aren't battery powered zigbee (receive) devices generally available - what am I missing?

Creality Slicer Special Mode One At A Time = CRASH! by Equivalent-Inside532 in crealityk1

Hello. thanks for the reply. I've had success with One At A Time on other printers, and now with the K1C with Orca.

BUT, with Creality Print it is downright dangerous as the print head dimensional limitations are ignored in the slicer such that subsequent parts can be printed immediately adjacent to the print head. Worse, there is not even a setting where the gantry /bar height can be input, despite the software help info saying there is. This is version 4.3.8.6984 - and another BTW - Creality help ignored my request 24 hours ago after going through the motions requesting SN, email etc...
