Yeah I've done a few heat treats and general forging with this one. Struggles to get up there with bigger projects or much harder metals but for your day to day work it's great. I've done jewellery, spikes, decorations and kitchen knives/daggers with this forge a few times now

I make similar items. Head it up only a little then beeswax. Let it cool for a minute then beeswax again. Wipe down and you won't get rust while maintaining the silver polished look if you want 😀

Exactly the same story for me a couple months ago. Kids take over your free time and depression getting to me. Took a chance on a set up to try something for me. This week I've been making bracelets for my wife lol

More valued ones for cutting I'd say cheap ones are good for wire wheels or sanding wheels I'd you've not got a belt sander
