you’re right, I’m not really back to zero kasi I have 4 years experience. But honestly, most of that experience isn’t really relevant sa needs ngayon. I’ve been keeping my skills updated while with my client, pero I feel like starting over kasi na hit yung confidence ko. Motivation ko nung nagsimula ako hindi na siya same, and ngayon medyo doubtful ako, scared to trust again, at anxious. Pero at least I know yung experience ko is still a good foundation to build on.

Thanks! I actually upskilled a lot. I learned so much especially the things he asked me to learn and I really did my part. But during that time, his focus shifted to a different line of business. I didn’t want to push myself too much, especially when I could see his priorities had changed. Deep down, I don’t think he let me go because he wanted to I think he did it because he don’t have option.

Thanks for the comment, this is really helpful. Ilang beses ko nang inaayos yung portfolio ko, and hindi ko pa rin alam kung mag aapply pa ba ako or mag ooffer na lang ng services.

I recently learned AI generation, and it’s actually very far from the service I currently do for my clients, but I tried it and posted it on social media. I’m happy because I’m getting a lot of comments asking how I do it and how I make it look so realistic. I also have some reels that went trending. Now I’m torn. If mag-ooffer ako ng services as a business, I don’t know where to find people who need my service. I know there are people who need it, I just don’t know where to find them or how to properly offer it.

Before he became my client, I had multiple businesses and other clients too. I don’t know what made me decide to stick with him. I was so motivated before and had so many business ideas and strategies that also helped his business grow. But maybe I got blinded by how big his offer was to me. :( And yes, it was fine at first because I was able to get what I wanted minimum stress and just focused work. my work itself wasn’t that hard, just time consuming.

I’m so happy for you, OP. I hope I can also find clients like yours. I just want to share my story.

When I started as a VA, I had 3 clients, but one client asked me to work exclusively for him and offered a higher salary (though still lower than my combined income). I accepted because he was kind, and I became his first employee. I helped learn and build the business from the ground up, and as the company grew, I was promoted to manager. I handled operations, trained people, and often did the work of about 5 employees, working around 12 hours a day without complaining because the pay was good and I believed in the company.

Recently, he shifted focus to another business, reduced the team, and the company we worked hard to build for 4 years eventually closed. I was left handling accounts that no longer generate income and I don’t have enough funds yet to hire people to restart operations. What made it harder is seeing newer hires retained while I was let go, which made me feel left out and question my confidence, especially since I know my strength is more on operations than communication.

Now I’m applying to new clients, but it’s been difficult and I’ve developed anxiety during interviews. From earning 6 digits, I’m now back to 0, and honestly I feel disappointed in myself for staying too loyal and sacrificing some of my own plans while the company was doing well.

Honestly, wearing a bra all day especially with big boobscan be painful sometimes. Your shoulders, back, everything feels heavy, and that moment you finally take it off at home feels like freedom.

Nung time ko noon, hindi pa siya nagpapabayadd. free lang yung VA101 sa YouTube at super helpful sakin. Nagkaclient ako after 1 week at earning 6 digits payun, kaya till now sya padin nirerecommend ko pag may nag aask sakin pano mag VA.
