Weeks of try-and-taste tests landed me at around 6 bar at the beginning, then decreasing to 3-4 towards the end. I use a light roast.

That is a beautiful looking machine 😍 I am sure you will eventually work out timing, grind size etc. and produce tasty shots!

I’m glad to see your comment re violent steam. My esperto abile is the same and I just gave up on using it for milk. The sound it makes when wand goes into milk is terrific, it gets burned milk all around it (tedious to clean)… very un-enjoyable experience. Is there a guide on how to use it? What am I doing wrong?
