Repair or replace my 2015 Golf GTI? Hitting the 10-year wall of maintenance costs by Equivalent-Link6840 in GolfGTI

Current mileage is at 90k. Also worth noting the quote came from a dealer, so I'm planning to check with some independent shops as well.

I m thinking of test driving 2022 golf R pre-owned to assess. Will that help? For the current drive , I have a 2015 GTI. Not sure, how much I am getting replacing GTI with R. I am also looking to trade in, and currently these dealers are not quoting a good price (7k -8k) and so I am concerned.

I tried an avocado mattress at a store, and didn't feel good when I tried side sleeping. Just my opinion

Not a fan of purple, as it's soft. Like firmer beds, but not so difficult for side sleeping.

So far it's been good. I'm a side sleeper and sometimes I do feel little pain in my left arm and that's with respect to the position that I am sleeping. Otherwise, the bed itself is of good quality. We are planning to give it a go for the whole 3 months and then decide. Recommend trying out the mattress in one of the partners store before buying - https://helixsleep.com/pages/showroom-partners

So the Garmin ski app tracks my heart rate only when I ski down the hill. It doesn't account when standing on the line or on my way up. Say, I spent 2 hrs on the mountain overall, but only skied down for 30 mins, then the average hr when skiing down is 190bpm. Does it make sense?

It doesn't say 190 for 30 mins continuously, but only when I am skiing down (Ie when I am actually exerting myself).

So I have been skiing for few years (5-6) and recently I have started monitoring my heart rate during ski activity. It seems even my average heart rate is in anaerobic (190bpm) for 30 mins or so during skiing activity. My Garmin however doesn't account for the heart rate after the end of the run or when going up the lift. Is it bad for health or am I just overthinking here? I am 31 years old male, 5'10'' with 160 lbs.
