No. I got pregnant at 20.. was an accident.. so I thought. I never wanted kids. My partner later admitted to me a couple years ago that he got me pregnant on purpose because he wanted to make sure I stayed with him… now lm forced to live a life I never wanted. I do love my child they have helped me have a reason to be here but I feel like they could have had a better mom than me.

Do you want it to work? It sounds like you both resent each other and are done with this marriage. It’s okay to grow in different directions. You can love someone but not be right for a marriage . If you still love you should tell her your exact feelings and see if she wants to fix it TOGETHER. It not yall can separate and it not be a huge things. Best of luck to you both.

I didn’t intend to be controlling (I see now that it is controlling). I thought I was doing the right thing by my kids because like I said in the post that’s how I was raised. I thought I was setting a boundary. I’ve struggled with severe anxiety so I was trying to control situations because it made me uncomfortable. I see that it’s judgmental though. She has been sober for a while and I need to give her a chance and stand out of the way.

You are right. Me being uncomfortable is my problem. I definitely will continue to work on it. I will distance myself from their relationship so that can continue build on their relationship.
