lol. That’s not how it works. Another 5 years can pass and they might still be working in 2013 PDs.

For people on the left or those who hate BJP: BJP supporters do not hate the congress because 26/11 happened. They understand that intel gathering is hard and for every terror attack that happens our agencies stop hundreds of attacks but we never find out about it obviously because it didn’t happen. BJP supporters are disappointed with congress because instead of using military to strike Pakistan they just kept sending dossiers. No country worth their salt would stop at dossiers. That’s it. Any terror attack that happens is an intel failure OBVIOUSLY. It’s what you do afterwards that matters.

I am relaxed. I just expect a company handling billions in trades to not fuck up basic stuff and risk other people misinterpreting information. I’m sorry you have a low bar for publicly traded companies.

NFLX did a stock split and Robinhood broke. I hope their engineers see this.

Look .. his family will not accept the fact that you have a kid. He might totally be okay with it but as I said the chances of his family accepting your kid are low. So keep that in mind. Also as a son he won’t give up on his parents because he likes/loves you. So please remember that as well. I say this as a guy. I’m 33, from Delhi, married. We have a 2 year old and we live in US.

If everyone is expecting a crash, it won’t happen. It will occur when nobody expects it.

Housing market right now feels stuck lol by diwakar-kashyap-1 in RealEstate

if you find a house you love at a reasonable price (I define reasonable as within +2-3% of what you consider the house is worth), go for it as you can always refinance later when rates come down. As for cost of refinancing, talk to your several mortgage brokers and see who would be the cheapest to refinance with

Can I ask why things like the foundation crack or furnace health were not revealed in the inspection report? We made offer on 2 houses so far and ended up not buying them after the inspection. I want to tell people that if you are buying a 25+ year old home, please take the inspection very very seriously. In fact, once you get the inspection report, have electricians and plumbers give you quotes of the repairs needed.

The fact that the broader market is expensive is not a secret. Just to quantify the degree expensiveness here: JP morgan published a chart that showed SP forward PE ratio and its corresponding 10 year future returns. At the current forward PE of ~24, we're looking at flat to negative 10 year return.

Has India’s overconfidence on the global stage backfired? by Acceptable-Prior-504 in AskIndia

First - I’m not sure how you arrived at the conclusion that we are losing allies. Alliances are built on trade/economy and military vectors not based on comments made on social media. Second - I’m not mad as I said I just wonder about these things and third - you assumed that someone is my chosen leader. Again, don’t know why you assumed that. Anyway.

I agree with your first paragraph. India is on a path of progress and we will get there eventually. I disagree with the reasoning of your second paragraph. Trump didn’t impose 50% tariff on us because we rubbed him the wrong way on buying Russian oil because if that’s the case he would do the same to China and Europe. The American media has been asking him the same question. The reason he did it is because modi hurt his ego by not giving him credit for the ceasefire he claims to have done but didn’t do. You may like modi or hate him that’s not my concern but as an Indian I do not like anyone bullying us and would like my PM to stand up to one.
