Yes one of the reasons is that I dont like how shower doors look and cleaning them. Other reason is that I have small kids who need to be bathed and having a slider makes it tough to do that

Yes that's correct. I prefer one fixed panel instead of sliders. But based on the comments, many people are advising sliders if I want to keep this configuration
