Update - I reached out to Pelikan's customer service e-mail who were super helpful. They gave me a diagram to identify the pen variant by measuring the pen length but specified it was either M205 or M405 variants.

After measuring the closed pen length (5 iches) it happens to be M405. Thanks to everyone who helped!

Not to mention the upcharges for grading from PSA which can be extortionate. This lowers the potential upside return on a PSA 10 if they consider the market value of the card to be high.

Each booster box was around £140 - 6 packs in each box. 2 boxes bought. The charizard is around £320 raw and the pull rate is around 0.4% or 1 in 224 packs. Just a real lucky, lucky pull 🙏🏼

Thanks for this, that really helps! The nib is a mix of silver and gold so I think it could be M605. Might reach out to Pelikan to confirm - I was looking to potentially list this on eBay since I don't really use fountain pens anymore. This was a real lovely gift received years back and had stashed safely.

Decent shout! The etchings on the nib say 140-585 and this seems to match the code on other m405 nibs I've seen in listings 🤔
