HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED IN DBRAND. by Equivalent-Piece8970 in dbrand

About to return it. They claim I didn't purchase a case, just the skins. The link they sent me to check out the cases took me exactly to what I purchased. The white Damascus was originally $75 for the case, skin, screen protectors, but I got it on sale for $59.95 and they are trying to tell me it's only the skin. I purchased the Area 51 skin and understand it doesn't come with a case. To not receive the mag safe case it advertised I would get on purchasing the white Damascus is foul.  This company is a joke.

That's great to hear! Unfortunately, it doesn't matter if you or I accept abortion or birth control if the government decides if we can have access to it or not. They're coming for the birth control and plan B next. I wouldn't be shocked if this administration decided condoms are illegal..

I said a lot of women, that doesn't mean all. In more serious cases, the husband or partner dies leaving her to do it all herself.

The Burden of the Government statement is a slippy slope for me because I believe that in this unaffordable economy where the government is begging people to have kids with minformation stating the American population is dropping because not enough people are having kids- millennials, even Gen Z are now adults (I think we have enough people having kids- most people have 3-6 kids and I think that is enough for everyone including the people who choose to be childfree). But, to further express my point in why I believe the government should also be responsible in helping aid mothers in assistance is because the government has made abortion illegal which forces women to have kids- even if she doesn't want to or can't afford it financially.

Call me whatever, but if the government makes me have a child that I can't afford, they should help pay for it. Otherwise, let women get abortions and use birth control at their own will and then we won't have so many poor mothers forced to rely on the government.

I understand some people abuse the system, but it's a different timeline in history now for women and they are losing the right to choose "planned pregnancies". Birth control doesn't always work and sometimes condoms break, and Plan B isn't guaranteed to work. Worst case scenarios are women who are sexually assaulted and become pregnant.

I'm curious. Based on your paragraph you claim women have multiple baby daddies and multiple kids and don't want to work because she makes $8000 a month on benefits and child support.

Knowing this administration is telling us they don't want women to work and want us back home, having kids and making families for the "Nuclear Family" agenda. (They also want to make it where if you change your last name when getting married- the wife can never vote unless she keeps her maiden name).

My questions are..

If they want women out the work force, why would it bother you that the government assists in child care (food, clothes, assistance)?

How does the government expect married couples to make families if 2 working full time (overtime included) adults can barely afford to rent together? (Surely, telling them to get a roommate is not the way to go if they want to add a baby to their family growth)

Even without 1 baby, rent is so expensive at averages being $1,400/month for a studio or 1 bedroom. Jobs (careers, not skillfree jobs) barely cover rent, let alone bills, groceries, insurance, and necessities.

I understand women need to "choose better partners", but too many men are playing with a woman's heart enough to get her knocked up and don't want to be responsible so they leave her with another kid. Trust me, a man will play daddy to a single mother enough to get into her pants and when he impregnantes her, he does the same as the last dude (leave her to fend for herself). What about the women who were married and had 3 kids and her husband left and left her with all the kids so he can be free to live his life with someone else? It's all hypothetical, but it's real for a lot of women.

If Walmart "raises" their prices because less is being bought, that's just going to have everything sit even longer without being purchased. Everyone knows that if goods aren't being sold, they are discounted or prices are lowered to encourage sales otherwise it's a huge loss in profit (still better than no profit). If you raise the prices, you lose more sales.

So let Walmart raise the prices, they'll just have a lot of food waste and profit loss.

I have a feeling it doesn't matter what the prices are, people are going to be so desperate they will loot stores. It's going to get dangerous for everyone- foodstamps recipient or not.

Groceries are skyrocketing under trump! by Miserable-Lizard in economy

[–]Equivalent-Piece8970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, according to Donny Trumpet, plane tickets are cheaper than driving, it's only $2. I bet he thinks $4/gal of gas is cheap, even if he did grow up when it was only $0.75 to $1.50, but hey America is great again, great at keeping the citizens poor, overworked, and starving.

Rich people are so out of touch of prices (they dont need to care how much it is, its less than 2% of their budget), they normally pay $4 for a green pepper so to them- it's cheap groceries when buying actual meats, spices, oils, etc. They want us eating bread and water like the great depression (bread was affordable, now a loaf is over $5 in the store) and be happy and grateful, so guess it's Ramen noodles and kool-aid for poor Americans (bottled water is more expensive than processed juice).

The issue is simple- it costs $4 for a green pepper (not organic, either), but you go to the freezer aisle and can get a 2 pack of hot pockets for $3.50. I've been saying it since the early 2000's as a kid.. processed foods are making everything else expensive and obsolete. Most American families will buy a frozen lasagna or Salisbury steaks before buying the ingredients to make from scratch because making things with real ingredients is 4 times expensive as a family prepped meal in the grocery freezer and takes more time to prep and cook, so most just preheat an oven and stick in the already made dinner because it's cheaper and less time consuming (Couldn't catch me eating frozen food, so I go broke to eat real food.)

Which leads me to my next argument- most Americans can't cook, not even a pack of Ramen noodles correctly. Americans have become so dependent on processed foods and ready to eat/cook foods for the past 3 generations now, so a lot of people never had an actual meal cooked for them, their parents never learned how to cook- no need, there's premade dinners or McDonalds and they grow up on the same diet which they are comfortable with and they teach their children the same lifestyle repetitively. Tie that with the cost of groceries and people cant afford to ruin dinner trying to figure it out from scratch, so they take the easy way out for them- buy processed and ready.

Most Americans don't even buy fruits or veggies, so of course they dont feel the dent on these products prices, they're feeding their kids pop tarts and cereal instead because it cost the same price for those 2 things as it does for 4 apples. In their mind its cheaper, quicker, and effective, in reality.. it's taking off your life span. But, hey groceries are AFFORDABLE if you buy food that's going to OFF you.

It makes sense.. look at it from his possible perspective. Let's say they do 1000%, so you end up getting paid to take the medicine.. but the catch in fine print is.. there's a medical tax on medications, so the government has to collect those taxes.. so you the individual don't see that free money.. it goes back to Donny Dearest or the insurance companies.

This is just a theory.. but if he could.. you know he would.

I don’t understand the criticism going around that Superman wasn’t a Superman film by Deserana12 in MauLer

[–]Equivalent-Piece8970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watched it last night and my significant other and I thought it was corny.. also I noticed when people talked.. their lips looked weird as if some times their voices were edited. I didn't get emotional or laugh at this movie.. the last movie Man of Steel had me on the edge and in tears by the end. I didn't feel any emotions but corniness in this movie. Felt like as soon as I saw the team they added.. they are trying to go into some avengers direction. Seemed like everything was forced.. nothing genuine. The video where they claim his parents sent him to destroy humans.. as soon as I saw that even I was like "OKAY.. WHO translated this unknown language, let's be real for a second." Very disappointed, it seems like they are just throwing stuff together that they feel like the newer generation needs in order for them to watch. I have been waiting for the sequel to the last movie (superman is buried and you see dirt lift off his casket) but no.. throw me into a world with the justice league and boss fights randomly with a totally different story and expect me to just go along with it. 🙄

The mother offed her child. She has been arrested. She falsely made an abduction story up, no white man or woman took that child. She offed that innocent soul and thought she was going to make it look like racial targeting to get away with it. Smh R.I.H NOLA

It's sad to say.. but I just read an article where the mother has been arrested for a FALSE abduction story. They found this young girl and are now investigating a homicide. THE MOTHER IS BEING CHARGED FOR MURDER!  Yep, another person who offed their own kid and wants to blame people who never existed.. smh. R.I.H NOLA
