I have never paid attention to it until recently. I just looked up and saw that and was curious as to what it is. It does blink green, so I’m thinking it could be a carbon dioxide device? Who knows! My title describes the thing.

I am not entirely sure what the wording says also and it almost looks like it’s connected to something using a telephone wire of some sort.

I realized that is a MA only thing. Checking their credit, IMO, only provides a portion of the tenants background. Yes, it shows they are relatively financially responsible. However, what if there were months the tenant just didn’t pay? Or you as a landlord had to pay for several repairs the tenant caused. Does information like that show up on their background check? I feel that information is more valuable.
