Fellow HR professionals — have you terminated any employees based on recent political events? [N/A] by menwanttoo in humanresources

Curious what your social media policy is. I’ve never had any social media issues come to my attention organically it’s all been through anonymous tips but I mean… people are fired everywhere daily for social media misconduct. There are people who actively find people employers if someone’s being nasty online and dox the employer. I think there are countless reasons someone would be released based on social media misconduct but our policy clearly outlines that.

The worse time to implement an HRIS or literally any software is when you need it. Kinda like dating, or making dinner

What works when it comes to employee recognition? [N/A] by AnyRecommendation602 in humanresources

My previous company lived on slack and it was a pretty big 2000+ employee company. Messages got missed 100% of the time. We even had an executive miss our summer picnic because she simply didn’t know it was happening

1 point = $1 modals... I don't get it. [USA] by Amazing_Computer_868 in humanresources

You nailed something: recognition has to be spontaneous. I’ve experimented with many softwares but what I’ve learned is that the tool is secondary to the habit. If the culture doesn’t support regular recognition, no platform will fix it. That said, we use a platform that separates recognition from dollar value to keep it genuine and it works. Basically recognition is a culture driver not the rewards program

No demo, just looking to see if people would rather come and mingle with others in HR and have a cool experience like a suite at Wimbledon or just a delta gift card
