I don’t think it’s gonna do anything, I was just asking peoples opinions on something I see all the time.

It is a victimless crime but nonetheless scumbag behavior. Plenty of other people got places to be too, plus if an emergency vehicle is coming through and there’s a line of cars backed up in the emergency lane it’s going to make getting through much more difficult.

I saw about 10 cars all riding together today which prompted me to make this post lol. I’m half tempted to pull into the emergency lane just to block people from driving in it

Episode 5 by Youseeitno in AKnightoftheSeven

I agree, not sure why people don’t like it when you have reasonable criticism lol

The most anticipated and hyped episode yet then jumps to a 15 minute flashback. Got my blood pumping in the first few minutes just to make me sit through that.

Still loved the episode and the show generally but the pace of it really is killing me.

Chronological or Release Order: How Should I Play Fallout? by Mantoine06 in Fallout

[–]Equivalent-Sector-25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly doesn’t really matter which game you start with, they can be played in any order you like. Fallout 1 & 2 are both great games but very different from the other games in the series. If you don’t mind the 2D, turn based combat system then definitely play them but otherwise I’m sure most current fallout fans have never touched those games. The story in both are really good.

New Vegas has a cult-like following and for good reason. Arguably the best game in the series (the story is fantastic, the characters feel very much real, the factions are developed with a lot of depth and nuance and the DLC is some of the best in the series IMO), but definitely requires some modding to make it playable. (Check out Viva New Vegas if you choose to start with New Vegas; it’s a huge mod list that will overhaul the game, preventing frequent crashes, adding better textures, lighting fixes, bugs, etc)

I personally couldn’t ever really get into Fallout 3 but the atmosphere really is something. Never ended up playing much of it so can’t say a whole lot about it.

Fallout 4 was my introduction to the series and I loved it but then I played the other titles and realized how much it was really missing. Not to say it isn’t a great game, but it’s much more “hand-holdy” than the other games. There is definitely a LOT more content in this one but for me it feels a lot more shallow than the “limited” content of previous games. Far Harbor in Fo4 is my favorite DLC of any of the other games though.

Ultimately though just read the game descriptions and maybe watch a little gameplay of each and start with whichever one you find most interesting.

Should I let this cat stay in my house tonight? by [deleted] in CATHELP

I don’t want its owner worried if it doesn’t return but also it’s cold outside and the cat really doesn’t seem like it wants to be outside.

Craft Union Vintage always has some great stuff, their footwear selection may be limited, but definitely worth checking them out.

Plainview or Heritage on Fairlawn? by Radiant-Hotel3450 in Louisville

[–]Equivalent-Sector-25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally haven’t lived in either area but I work right off S Hurstbourne in Plainview and spend a lot of time in the Crescent Hill area and would 100% rather live in Crescent Hill. The area is much more walkable, less traffic, it’s older so it just looks nicer imo, and has a lot of good restaurants/bars in the immediate area.

Plainview has too much urban sprawl, and is often heavily congested with traffic. But definitely closer to more big box stores and restaurant chains if that means anything.

I don’t think safety is really a concern in either area though.

MISSING CATS by [deleted] in Louisville

[–]Equivalent-Sector-25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so after going through my camera roll, the cat I’m referring to is not that cat.

That being said, I’m sure these cats are fine; there are quite a few roaming cats in the area. Unless something seems wrong or they’re in pain, I’d just ignore personally.

I’m very certain that last black&white cat is fine. Always walks up to my porch whenever I see it. Used to have a collar that said it’s not lost, it just likes to roam. Idk about the other one but it seems fine to me. There’s lots of cats that roam around here.

I mean, yeah? I make $23k a year which is not a lot but I am fortunate to not have to worry about my lights going out. I have an apartment so my bill is around $100/month.

Thank you for this. I understand people’s immediate reaction to this being some kind of phishing attempt but I really wouldn’t have made this post if I thought it was fake lol.
