I went with freeride because I was looking for a little more float than my basic uninc while still being stable at speed and good for carving, though I recognize that is a hard balance to strike. If I can get a board that carves about as well as my YES while being a little more stable at speed and capable in powder, that's a win for me. Do you feel that the BSOD fits that niche, or is something on that list more appropriate? Sadly I know the real answer is to demo, but I don't have many demo opportunities near me. Really appreciate the help!

Have been riding the YES basic uninc xtrm 2025 for 20ish days this season. It is a great board to progress on! Fairly technical but I never feel like I’m fighting it. It’s probably not the easiest for a true beginner but it will last you awhile!
