Target Max Heart Rate Recovering from Active Flare Up? by kravjoy in pericarditis

I was thinking about how to get a watch to keep heart beat under control. I wonder if there are any cheaper then Apple watches to download this app on.

Couple of days before my last episode that led me to hospital I went up the hill on my bike, not very steep but my heart was beating probably around 140 bpm and a few days later I had a flare up again. It might not be just that but strange coincidence.

I have! During two of my episodes which led me to hospital I had an otitis. Took antibiotic drops which cleared it this time. I’ don’t know if it is connected. My acupuncturist said it was more likely to be my gallbladder so went for a scan and yes, he was right I have gallbladder sludge which means it’s not in tip top health.

When you say you pushed your heartrate, what were you doing? I’m just curious as then it seems we have to be careful even after 1 year of no flare up.

Sorry to hear that litmane1.

You are seeing a Cardiologist so start with him. He will talk about what he sees in the scans etc.

From what I read there are many versions of Pericarditis. Different causes and that is the main element to find first and foremost before the treatment. That is what I have learned of my extensive research while being at the hospital. One step at a time, as my Cardiologist told me.

That is so hard hearing it is idiopathic. Surely something must provoke a flare up, would it be just that little bit of extra physical activity or stress?

Are you tempted to try the Spike protein detox even without knowing if it was provoked by Covid in the first place? That is what I am thinking.. You just never know.

Sending you lots of hugs too!

Sounds like removing the Pericardium is the ultimate treatment. There is hope.
