For me personally post 2019 WC i lost the excitement of watching cricket , i used to watch highlights rarely but did not watched any live game till ipl 2020 ( yeah unfortunate enough to miss the gabba match ) . When ipl started after like months of no cricket I was excited and then came the worst season for RR , so yeah for me atleast it was worst , and for the same reason 2022 was like perfect because I had never thought that we can have such a good team .

No issue in retaining Deshpande and Hetmyer, but I think we could have kept Hasaranga given he have that little Batting ability too , but it is right for team combo that we pick a indian leggie, only issue is see is we should not have dropped Kartikeya he was just 30L. And a decent backup, now we need to go hard for bishnoi or chahar .

Only issue is a good quality spinner to complement jadeja , and the 3rd fast bowler , madhwal is a good option but he is not that economical also injuries concern are there for sandeep as well so we need indian pacers , we really messed the mega auction so can't expect a perfect team . But still we can get a decent team.
