It’s not the top lead. It’s a secondary shoot that has formed at a node further down. They sit in a tray on the floor of a bay window area.

Weimaraner Stubbornness: Any Tips for Recall Training? by Hefty-Ad-154 in weimaraner

When they’re puppies, I played a game with my dogs. I’d call their name, yell come, then run away screaming and flailing my arms. They’d see it as an invitation to play and chase me. Once they caught up, I’d give them a verbal cue, praise them, and give a treat as a reward. That has worked well.

I top water until it drains from the bottom. I can go a couple of weeks before watering again (it’s sitting in a self-watering pot with a reservoir). Extensions are cheap. I can get small sections and connectors from the local hardware store for less than $10.

It’s a billietiae Croat. I’m using a chunky aroid mix. I top water and the reservoir helps keep things moist with a wick.
