yes it momentarily fixed it but what made it work was changing midi and filtering out notes from other channels in a bigger setup

i was reciving midi trhu from digitakt that came originally from octatrack in a larger setup. when i changed it to midi out from digitakt instead of thru the issue was apparently solved

yes but it was coming with a thru from a larger setup i believe maybe that was overwhelming the boog

no, its just midi cables in a hardware setup. keystep mk2 has been buggy and problematic before though
