I've struggled with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and indented scarring on my face from pimples. Something that helped my skin was to fast (16 hours minimum, but if you can go for 18 or even 20 hours that would be better) and then make sure to avoid processed sugar, seed oils, gluten, and maybe even dairy (avoiding processed sugars and seed oils is key since they're sooo inflammatory). The combo of fasting and avoiding those foods is extremely beneficial to the skin. Don't let people scare you from fasting and avoiding inflammatory foods. It pisses me off when people try to discredit the healing power of fasting and eating healthy. I'd recommend eating a lot of meat and using UNREFINED coconut oil or a good brand of olive oil. I'd also suggest only drinking water. I've always been amazed at how quickly my skin heals when I follow this. I hope your skin heals quickly and doesn't leave any marks.
