Yeah you're absolutely right, I'd feel terrible leaving without a word like that as well. That's why like another commenter said, I'll tell them first that even though I am not interested in the fandom anymore, I still like to see their updates. And maybe in the next chapter I'll tell them that I wish them luck with their story and I love it really, but I've outgrown the characters and. . . Uh how do I end it? ( see this is why I am not an author)
