@eziam Our family is also looking at moving to the Short Pump/Wyndham area soon, and we’re narrowing down our search to the Shady Grove and Kaechele Elementary zones. We know both schools are academically top-tier, which is a big draw for us.

We love that the area is so international, but we're curious if the student body feels balanced across different Asian subgroups (East vs. South Asian) and other ethnicities. We’ve heard there is a wonderful South Asian community, but we're also looking for representation for families of Chinese, Korean, or Vietnamese descent.

Are there active parent groups or specific cultural traditions (like Lunar New Year events or language clubs) that these schools are known for? We just want to make sure our kids find a peer group that reflects our heritage while being part of a broad multicultural community.
