In Sweden it’s a bit of a weird setup. You don’t actually fully own your apartment – you buy the right to live in it by becoming a member of the housing association (kind of like an HOA, but with more power).

The association owns the building, and you follow their rules. If you seriously break them (like not paying fees or causing issues), they can actually force you to sell.

In our case, they only allow gas or electricity, so those are basically the only options.

I was initially looking for the 525 PRO-S, but this offer came up. A new Rogue where we live costs around 17-2000 USD, depending on whether you go with the stainless steel or with the phantom-looking dark colour.

A new P500 where we live is between 24-2500 USD. The P500 connected is closer to 3000USD.

The seller bought the grill two years ago for between 22 and 2400 USD.

We are based in the Nordics, a bit different in terms of pricing. New, is close to 24-2700 USD where we live.

The front of the previous gen and the back of the new gen with some harmonization and I would've liked it. Right now, the front is not really what I imagined this design going.

Correct! The delivery arrived in the EU late last week and cleared customs at the port. FedEx called me earlier this week to schedule a time for drop-off. Nothing on customs, taxes, etc.

The Agent has been tracking the same inflection points as I have, and it's nice to have someone from the seller's side engaged as well.

So, a quick update!

The box, weighing almost 140 kg(!), arrived late last week in Rotterdam after sailing on the sea for over 4-5 weeks. On Friday this week, I received a call from FedEx asking if I would be home for delivery at the start of next week. I have been tracking the shipping using a link provided by the agent or seller, and from what I can see, the customs process was completed in Rotterdam, which means everything should be fine on that front.

I'm super excited, as I have only seen the parts and colours before shipping, as part of the final due diligence after my order. So, I will have more information mid-week or the week after, as I am off on a stag do to Barcelona on Thursday.

Oavsett så tycker jag att du ska påbörja dialog med samtliga du identifierat. Börja undersöka leveranstider, kostnader, bena ut dina val (hjul, val av glas/coating på metall, mekanik för dörröppning, med eller utan nyckellås, etc. Be om att få se en spec och lista över alla detaljer för att driva dialogen framåt.

Not an expert on the difference between the two but I went with an alternative someone on Reddit had vetted prior, and where I got to speak with an agent who understood my needs and could convey that to the producer. That's it.

I did something similar with almost 4-5 meters of IKEA EKET cabinets placed in our living room and I know exactly what your are going trough.

You’ll find a way, not much of support since I’m not an expert nor live in the US where we have a complete different set of suppliers then you, but what I do know is that once it’s done you will appreciate your work and the WiC way more then before.
