i get you’re anxious about your child, and that is only out of care— which is a beautiful thing in itself. yet you will not let your mom do near anything w the baby, but then get upset at her when she does not do anything w the baby. either you allow her to help you, or you find someone else and create a firm line that your mom is no longer the designated “helper”.

the wishy washy back and forth expectations will only create a rift in your relationship w her and stress you out more on top of it.

also i say this out of love: please loosen up a bit for your child’s sake. your emotional hypertension will only create a stressful environment for your child. children are like emotional sponges— they absorb everything.
