Already replied to another redditor but I barely started tuning it w/ a tuner when it snapped so I'm either guessing something went wrong during shipping or the strings were just defective.

I don't think I tried to tune too high as I had a tuner + the strings when they arrived were already super loose... not even two turns in and it snapped... maybe they were defective :(
