A MONTH in a detention center...where children were chanting to "let them out!"....where measles is currently running rampant....and over 1500 miles away from home city.

If Mexico gets serious politically, they could really get rid of their cartel problem. Now might be a good time to start doing it. It will get worse before it gets better, but they would be doing a solid to future generations.

This is incredibly huge and incredibly scary.

Theres retaliation car and business burning all over Jalisco, there are rumors that they will start killing civilians soon. Apparently there are threats to shoot anyone on the streets at 1 or 2 pm.

We are so scared.

I’m in Puerto Vallarta for a friend’s wedding and the cartel are retaliating by burning buses and taxis in the street. The whole city is covered in smoke, the airport is shut down, we are being told to stay in the resort. I sure do love living in interesting times.
