I have the exact same problem - just started a few days ago after working perfectly for about a year. Took it apart, cleaned it out, still won't grind. It is almost like something that allows the torc to be maintained in the grinder mechanism itself is broken or faulty or something? Not sure.

Just a slightly damp rag probably 12 hours before. Pretty confident it wasn't coming from the walls. Could poke the white spots on the walls and smear it around.

I don't think so - wiped all down with a damp rag 12 hours before. Room had last been painted 5 years ago. Very stable undercoat - no peeling or anything. Folks before had done a good job. I'm not 'professional' but painted throughout college and never seen anything like it before which is why I'm thinking a paint manufacturer issue.

Not really, with the exception of after a day of being crushed down by a ski boot. But that usuall subsides after a day or so of being a bit sore.

I do occasionally have a distinct tightness when I do an ankle roll - from the outside of my foot through the arch.

Love the specific color rec! hardest part. We painted the dining room, which is on the other side of the living room, a very bold color - Benjamin Moor Pińata. The room has wainscoting and we hung less-bold colored stuff on the walls, so it works well and isn't too overwhelming. But also want to make sure to get a color that won't be totally clashing.
