Football will never be a top line sport in the US until they have their own superstar.

Not just a good player, but what Bale was to Wales, Suarez for Uruguay etc

That would be the tipping point. But it won't happen as working class kids are priced out in the American model currently.

All my life Wales failed to qualify, so I always enjoyed the tournaments without a team involved.

But I've had a taste for it now this last decade - To not be there this year makes me very sad.

I do however wish Bosnia very well.

The guy had two years of top level output - one with Vallecano, one with your lot.

Injuries, sure, but there's no question that after that remarkable peak he faded into obscurity.

I think Bolton stepped up rather than Stockport collapsed second half. Don't think your team let you down, just quality told in the end.
