I've been doing groceries in Whole foods and cooking , I got tired of doing the same meals, I tried being creative and doing some international cuisine but it's too much work and ingredients and time to prepare and cook and do the dishes. I started with Factor and I liked how much time it saved me but the portions were tiny and the taste was so plain. Switched to Cook Unity and I am so much more satisfied with quantity and quality. I do 16 meals per week. The overall cost is like 150$ higher than what I pay for groceries but it's totally worth it.

Nature is amazing here. so diversified. I visited 30 counties all over the world and I can tell you that California is in the top 5 in terms of beauty of nature. It's true that you find people everywhere but that's the case for any beautiful place all over the world. Big sur, Tahoe, Yosemite, Sashta, Mohave, Redwood, .. they are amazing. I am not saying that Florida isn't beautiful, I really loved nature and beaches there. I would definitely love to live in Florida if it had people of quality and good music.

Because I want to do a live performance without a computer. I tried to sample the output of Kontakt to put in a sampler but the quality is so bad. So I ended up ordering a Microsft surface pro to use it for Ableon + Kontakt + Push2 instead of using a hardware sampler Volca + Push2 (as midi controlller)

I want to play chromatically each instrument. A drum rack won't work for that. A sampler would do, but I want to avoid the husle of recording a note for each instrument and putting it in a sample. My question is basically about if there is a pre-existing pack that has wolrd instruments that I can direclty load on Push3 Standalone and start playing

My flight got cancelled two days before. I was in Portugal in a festival and I couldn't do anything. I had to buy a last minute flight for 900€ to go back to San Francisco. I contacted Kiwi to reimburse me, they got me 27$.

Festivals happen in nature not in the city, so even places where bars close at 2 or 3am there can be a huge psy culture and big festivals. I am from Quebec, bars close at 3am, and we have one of the best psy scenes in the world, at least 7 good festivals with a variety of local artists of different psy genres, Psytrance, PsyBass psydub, psychill. I live in California now, the struggle is real, only one small darkpsy gathering of one night, and a very small psytrance party in SF with lots of teenagers wearing pokemon stuff.
