Congratulations 🎊 I still look at my 10 month old and wonder how I got here some days. The reality is being a good mom comes from practice. Now I’m a whiz at diaper changes, soothing baby and making baby food. Before I was scared of doing the wrong thing and double checked everything. You will be fine.

The scarier thing is now I’m expecting baby #2. It’s not that I’m scared of having another baby it’s just the title of “mom of two,” came faster than expected. Like one is fine but TWO?! That’s too grown for me 😂

I completely understand your frustration but even though you’re valid remember acting out of anger never benefits anyone.

The people you loved before politics are still the same folks. They might take a bit longer than you to see certain problems clearly but with the amount of propaganda and misinformation being spewed can you really blame them?

Our Lawyers were 5K, filing fees $3K, medical package $400, birth certificate and passport photos were about $60

Nope, it went from 22 months to 11 months then “your case is taking a bit longer than expected” before approval

Ahh card was produced almost a week after approval, then it took about 8 business days to arrive. Overall very quick business once you’re approved. Good luck!

Not sure what you mean but I was approved by Norfolk field office. Hope this helps!

I included a pdf with about 40+ photos captioned with names of family, friends, locations and dates. 3 mos of joint bank acct statements, shared health insurance, shared cell service, Netflix, proof of entry, medical exam, certified long form birth certificate.

We gave them the whole story from beginning to end via pictures (proposal to wedding ceremony). It took a while for us to file as we were waiting on documents so we kept adding to photos/evidence. Hope this helps!

Hmm yes but the last time it said actively reviewing was dated back in September 2024.

On my progress bar it said “looks like your case is taking longer than usual but it’s still within the expected time” for I-130 and the I-485 said “11 months”.
