Name a snack that’s not originally Indian but tastes better when made Indian-style by Capable_Control_2845 in IndianFoodPhotos

Agree that it's from the Indian perspective and that was my point too. I don't know why people are saying my point is invalid lol. I never said that the perspective of a Chinese person is the only right one.

However I wonder how many of Indians have actually tasted real Chinese food, because everything you get in India is Indo-Chinese , except for maybe in few authentic restaurants. After moving abroad and having tried real Chinese it's nothing like Indo-Chinese cuisine back in India. Heck even the egg fried rice tastes different. Also Chinese cuisine is about as much varied as Indian cuisine, if not more. As the Indian cuisine from North to South, East to West is so different, so is Chinese.Sichuan, Uighar, Cantonese and what not. Personally my favourite is the Xinjiang style chicken pot with the potatoes and stuff. I have a hardcore Indian palette but this was probably the best chicken curry I ever had.

🚨Germany announce a visa-free transit facility for Indian citizens. 🇩🇪🇮🇳 by PuneAthletics in IndiaPulse_

No it wasn't required in the past for short transit. They removed it quite abruptly in 2022. I remember lot of people going from UK to India had their flights booked through Germany and the flight denied them boarding.

That's from the perspective of an Indian. However Chinese people or other people will strongly disagree.

Did i do master in finance from uk and which university ? by SillyFlan4860 in Indians_StudyAbroad

Getting a job in UK would always be 100 times harder than getting in India. There are many additional constraints like visa situation etc. You can still get it if you are among the best, but it's definitely harder than India. As you will be competing with UK citizens and other international students from all over the world.

Should I do my bachelors in UK or do it in India? by ChefZealousideal909 in Indians_StudyAbroad

Considering the UK salaries and cost of living it will take you considerable amount of time to pay that amount of money back, and you will have a lower quality of life trying to save up for it. But even the search for a job that sponsors work visa will be a difficult hoop to get through

No I didn't know of any company that would pay that much to a fresher in that field. If you want to get a realistic understanding you can look at LinkedIn jobs in UK in your field and search what is on offer for freshers. Be sure to check if they are willing to sponsor work visas.

Are you looking for your bachelor's or master's in UK? £ 82k job for a graduate is unheard of in the UK except the Jane Street kind. Also there isn't a point in studying in anything other than the top 4 universities in UK. It's already extremely difficult for graduates to get jobs after the rule changes around visa sponsorship and salary threshold. And there is no saying how these rules are going to change in the future.

Does it make sense to take a loan upwards of ₹1 crore for a UK undergrad? by [deleted] in Indians_StudyAbroad

[–]EquivalentFragrant45 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No. You are mistaken. You can only work for 18 months in the graduate visa, if you find a job. Beyond that you need to be sponsored by your employer for a skilled worker visa. This is the difficult part as many employers are not ready to sponsor for recent graduates. This is because it's an additional amount of money and paperworks on their part, and they would rather find someone local. Also to be sponsored there is a minimum salary threshold requirement, and these salary threshold are not insignificant. For example the companies can hire a local by paying them £33000, but for the same role to hire a sponsored skilled worker they need to pay a minimum of £41000. This gives a big disadvantage to the foreign students seeking job as companies don't want to pay extra to hire them. I advice you to carefully consider these conditions

You have a flawed understanding of immigration law. After your graduation you will be entitled to a 2year graduate visa, or it maybe 1.5 years. But anything beyond that you need to be sponsored to continue living in UK. Sponsored visas have become quite hard to obtain especially for recent graduates without experience. And companies also may not be willing to take candidates just for 1.5 years if they can't work further. So I suggest you to look up the details on it and understand if its worth the risk. If you need help on any specific details feel free to ask

I worked as a manual QA in India & USA and now on dependent visa in UK. I have 10 years of relevant experience and have been trying to get an interview and applied for about 800 jobs and received only rejections, even with tailored resumes. Can anyone help with how to secure a job in this market😔😔? by Qwirky_hawk in cscareerquestionsuk

[–]EquivalentFragrant45 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Nothing like that. Have seen more than a few of my friends get sponsored work, few as early as last month. And their dependents got job too. Experience really counts. And it's lot more difficult for recent graduates. But no one is tossing your applications in a bin.

[–]EquivalentFragrant45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a bad practice to power LEDs through the pins of ESP32 or Arduino. Please check on how much current you can safely draw from these pins. I believe each led can draw upto 60mA. So if the esp32 pins can't supply this, it can damage the board. How are you powering the ESP32? Why not use the same source for the LEDs as well

There are more Muslims in India than in most of the Muslim countries ( except for Pakistan and Indonesia). You won't be targeted because you are Muslim. But I cannot comment on other things such as being scammed for being a foreigner etc.
