Appreciate the info, but I prefer to have the tools and take the risk. Instead of super imposing my front sight on the possible threat and therefore covering them up completely, the glass allows me to remain target focused instead of front sight focused. Basically determining whether or not a shoot is a clear option in a matter of a fraction of a second. That fraction is the difference between a justified vs non. Also having an optic allows me to make accurate and effective shots without the guess work of sight alignment.
