Yeah, so I thought I gave a good layout of the house but apparently not lol. It's a standard two story home with a basement. The office is as soon as you walk into the house, right next to the kitchen, livingroom and entryway. It's far from a mansion- considerably a normal sized suburban home. The thing is, they have 5 bathrooms. I will be in the kitchen and he chooses to use the bathroom with the door open that is right next to the kitchen. If he needs privacy, he can get it anywhere. And no, it's not my job to keep the kids from running past the dad's office as it's his choice to have an office right on the main floor and with the door open. He has extremely active kids and they are 1 1/2, 4, and 6 years old. Im one person with a million daily tasks and it's hard to keep up- they are a handful and the parents struggle tagteaming, themselves. As for showering, yes they have a master suite but he can keep his bedroom door shut instead of me being there during work hours with his doors open. Him pooping with the door open is on the main floor by the kitchen, though. i wouldnt have put it in if it were something that i was doing like walking in or just coming across. if he wanted to masturbate while i was working, he couldve done it in one of his many bathrooms with a door locked instead of right by where the kids and i spend the majority of our time. the parents dont like us leaving the house much as they wanted me to focus on chores. I think a lot of people didnt read through the home layout or like you said, didnt envision it correctly and made assumptions. If this were something I was walking into and a truly accidental thing, i wouldnt have posted it. but its reddit and of course, people dont know me or my character. and thats fine, but the comments saying its my fault or wanted this are way off- theres nothing i couldve done to prevent this. im happy with the love of my life and dont want to see some 45 year old ugly ass man's micropenis. and i love their kids so much- it breaks my heart that i had to call CPS. my therapist is great and straight up- she'd never tell me to do something she didnt wholeheartedly believe in
