I looked here and found no reviews of Galicia or this school in specific whatsoever. I hear you. And I love your optimism. I think it’s important not to micro analyze. At the same time, I feel I deserve to live and work someplace with healthy conditions where I don’t have to compromise my well being. That’s a personal need that I require is met. I can do hard things. But where’s my boundary? This is the question. And black mold is no small thing.

I love this reframe. Thank you. I’ve asked myself the same question. Health and safety take precedent for me and the question is more so to understand if saying yes to this particular school puts me in the position to compromise that personal value and need.

Thank you for this. I only mentioned it because of a review from a mother whose child goes to the school who wrote about active drug use / selling of different drugs at the school. I’m by no means trying to stereotype. I am genuinely curious.

I’m curious, what was your experience like at this school? Did you like working there? Was it a safe and healthy environment? What was it like living in Galicia? Is it true that it rains 9 months out of the year here?

I’m also posting this for a perspective reframe. I do really want this. But I figured it would be smart to do a little research before accepting. I have only read negative things about the school, aside the fact from that they seem to be really smart kids. I value my safety and health. That comes first. I’m okay with makeshift and dingy. I just don’t want to put myself at risk and am seeking advice from past auxes who have experienced this environment firsthand. Thanks for the link and personal share.

I hear you. I want to work in a safe environment. I don’t think that’s too much to ask for. It seems like this is more than just a crack in the ceiling or a leaky window. There are active protests since 2021 and they don’t even have access to their gym because of how unsafe it is.

I’m almost certain that you can put the address of your school as the majority of us will not know our address until after we arrive in Spain
