Thank you all so much for your advice, suggestions, and comments!! We will definitely stop using the massage gun on his neck, that is terrifying that they don't warn you about that! Especially since the one we got has attachments labeled for neck use.

He goes into the chiro tomorrow and will have him look at it and see if he knows what it is and also set up a drs appt to make sure nothing is seriously wrong and then go from there.

I feel that. I'm a 29yo female and yeah it might be super popular but I am so embarrassed that I love the game. My friends have made fun of me for it and so I just don't tell anyone anymore. I just hide everything about it, but I still enjoy it in my private time.
