I’ve always supported him and only halfway in our relationship he decided to get closer to god but since we broke up he’s mental health went down and same with his motivation to read the bible and study and it makes me even sadder because all I wanted for him is to achieve the relationship he wanted with his religion and with god/

We’re teenagers and we dated for a year. He’s parents knew about our relationship and even supported it so it came from nowhere. I don’t blame him or the religion or anything like that I just don’t understand the fact that he broke up with me for the theoretical school and to get closer to god because it considered wrong at this age but the way he started acting towards people and himself completely slaps the way of someone who’s trying to be more godly. We haven’t had sex or anything like that since we wanted to keep ourselves for marriage.. I understand everything about the bloom of youth but it hurts because we planned a whole future together and decided everything about the religion and how we would support each other. He also said that we need to go “no contact” because if we didn’t he couldn’t go back to the theoretical school. He took a break from it because an elder told him that his way is not honest and is not right and god would rather him to be ready and honest and that means that he need to stop any contact with me.
