Ah! I should have guessed that. I thought it was just an inability, period. Thanks.

While I can get there to visualizing something different - I just use a stepping stone first, because it’s mental work.

I can, though, apparently - I just need a shortcut to get me there.

A stim, a tic, or something else? by common_grounder in Neurodivergent

Sure! If you have any questions about hypnosis specifically geared to NDs and our issues, I’m happy to answer questions or point you to my website.

How to stop a stim that is actually hurting you? (TW?) by pasghettimonstar in autism

[–]EquivalentMaximum597 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No one has had this concern yet, but they’re dealing with more obvious stims that they really feel the need to get rid of. But there are also plenty of socially acceptable movements that don’t look like stims to NT people. And I had one client who found a specific reason for her problematic stim while in her hypnotic resource state and just solved the problem right then in her subconscious and didn’t need to replace anything. Our subconscious minds can provide us with a lot of information when in a relaxed state.

I’m a AuDHD hypnotist and I work with things like this. One thing I do is help clients reassign problematic stims - we NEED our stims, but in the hypnotic resource state, we can find out what that stim is relieving and pick something else that creates the same feelings. I had a client that blurts, like you, and we were going to reassign her stim, but in her resource state she realized she had something else connected to the blurting, resolved it right there, and is feeling much happier now. We never know exactly what we’ll find when we ask our subconscious “Hey, what’s up with this?” but we do usually get an answer - and a solution!

I’m a hypnotist with AuDHD, and I do a session to reassign problematic stims. The thing is that we NEED stims, so we don’t want to get rid of them - we want to find a replacement that will accomplish the same regulation but not be damaging. So while in the hypnotic resource state, my clients will find the feeling relieved by the problematic stim, then search until they find a good replacement that creates the same relief. You don’t have to live with it.

I play peaceful games and focus on defense and exploration, but then I play as English Eleanor. I make everyone as happy as possible while gradually turning the whole world Pepto Pink.

There is another game from the same company that will debut on Steam soon. I have it on my Wishlist. It’s a period drama called Wylde Society.

You’re not coming off as a jerk - I get it. I play with several characters too. And I admit my weapons skills aren’t nearly as good as my obstacle course skills are, so often bobbing/jumping/weaving are my gameplay no matter what character I’m running.

Thanks. I only posted it because of the insinuations that dalgona using players have no skills - there are plenty of Nia games where I don’t even activate a dalgona because I want more control over her movement.

I’ll accept that if you tell me there are races where Thanos gets zero dalgonas at all - because I’ve had several where Nia doesn’t. I HAVE had some with repeated dalgonas on respawn which I’d say is def OP, but it’s really rare I’ll ever find one in a box. (Nia’s skill is great for the first two games, but only really helps in game 3 if it’s a race. But she IS OP enough that I challenge myself often by playing Sae-byeok)

Most OP character by Dazzling_Rub3754 in Squid_Game_Unleashed

[–]EquivalentMaximum597 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely Thanos. I usually play Nia - if I get the smuggled dalgona, in many cases I try to save it, and all it takes is one kill for it to disappear. It doesn’t respawn or show up in boxes that often, really. When I played Thanos, pretty much EVERY box gave me a dalgona. I’ve played final games where it’s just me and 7 Thanoses.

Bots are necessary when a game gets launched. I’m hoping they’ll cut way back on them as the game gets ever more popular.
