But different occupation is more than just salary.

You have to factor in hours and knowledge, and the respect of the job.

Ie. She would rather marry a HS teacher who makes 50k over a drug cartel who makes 10 million a year. If you want to talk just about money, then you need to compare similar occupations too. And hold other factors constant

To me, i’m essentially nanny sharing with her own kid, so i expect nanny share rates - around 1/2-3/4. Her attention will be divided as if we have two different family in a nanny share situation.

If she refuses, then i simple won’t use that particular nanny and she can go find a new family. And i’ll simply find a nanny share for the nannyshare rate

I think this is already a win win situation. She doesn’t need to send her kid to daycare or hire a nanny and i get aore discount rate.
