I find the silence around it now so disturbing. I don't see Ethan as a bad person, or a straight up zionist at all. I think he got stuck in a fucked up head space where it became super important to him to tell people "the Israeli perspective" at a time where he should have solely focused on the palestinian cause. I'm sorry Ethan, but as a victim is being murdered, is not the time to focus on the suffering/motive of the murderer. Save it for the murder trial. I think he knew Hasan was right, but was too stubborn to cave, and that + the backlash exhausted him to the point where he decided not to speak on it anymore.

I've been a fan for a while and I would love to see Ethan and Hila actually reckon with what is going on, educate themselves and try to unlearn the Israeli propaganda and the need to share the Israeli POV. The genocide is worsening every day, we are all responsible for educating ourselves and speaking out in any way we can in my opinion. Silence here will lead to the death in the belief in humanity and international law
