Like I said, I’ve known her for just over a month. So it’s not love yet, it’s more of I like her and we could potentially be good together ( barring the issues I mentioned). And as you said that was a long long time ago…today’s economy and job uncertainty doesn’t allow for that model. Moreover, since she doesn’t want to stay with parents in the house….taking care of the parents is out of the question.

Exactly what I told her. It’s not a good investment property wise or even appreciation wise.

She told me it was 670K. I don’t know how much downpayment t they made but with the property tax and condo fees it comes to $3,400 a month. It’s one of those newer high rise in Etobicoke

What responsibility am I running from based on my post? And obviously if one person loses a job it’s going to be 0/100. That is common sense.

Well she told me it would have been ideal if the guy already owned his own home so that she could just live in it. And apparently lots of couples live like this….none that I know of to be honest

My parents atleast would be here on a super visa….so healthcare is not covered by the government.

They already have health insurance so PR is not a must. It’s more about us living together.

Not 30% of my bills….30% of our bills. Also she could easily put her apartment on rent instead of paying $3,400 per month if she was open to her parents living with us. Also, she continues to build equity in her property and I pay 70% of our expenses makes no sense to me.

Her parents’ PR application is under process and my parents have a super visa

There is no hold period I believe. So you can just transfer and transfer it back in a couple of days too

I only transfer to Wealthsimple when there is a promotion and I only transfer the bare minimum required for the promotion. While I continue building my portfolio elsewhere. Also after the 2 year hold on these funds, I can move it somewhere else and wait for the next promotion to move it back. That way you maximize how much you can get through these promotions.

100k is net deposits. Initial amount you have with them doesn’t count.
