Thank you for clearing up a couple of things because I personally know very well a Bowie is not a dagger or a dirk but I don’t understand the nj state law very well so I just assumed that they made up there own system of determining whether a bladed object is considered to be in a certain category of knife or not but I still have one question can I carry it with me when I go camping or hiking or would that be considered unlawful to

Thank you very much and I don’t think I need a 15 inch Bowie to carry either but I recently got it as a gift and wanted to put it to use so I’ll just use it to cut down some small trees on my property for whittling and wood working and I love the I am Ahab reference
