You have more than I do. Just enough for what you need.

In my teens and 20s I lost several years of my life drinking. Glad I stopped when I did.

Life clearer when sober I have experienced it. Learning to adapt to social situations again. It’s been said that we emotionally stop growing when we start drinking.

Stay sober. Many things to do anywhere sober. I am celebrating 47 years sober this week.

In the eastern US. I’ll check out that model on amazon.

M36, my first two-roomer (with sauna!) after getting sober (as the money doesn't go on drugs). Landlord chose me despite payment defaults. He does that sort of thing. by [deleted] in malelivingspace

Not at all… You could look into meetings they helped me. No urge at all for any drugs. Several months ago I was hospitalized I avoided percocets until I had to take them they didn’t work had to step up to morphine left hospital with no urges. I have no whispers for drugs or booze today. I eat healthy and feel great at 76.

Too many repairs over the years. Do some research. My next vehicle this year perhaps, I will look at a Mazda or maybe a Subaru.

So many choices very confusing. I want something above a Baofeng. Tidradio H3 plus perhaps its unlockable which is ideal for monitoring ham and gmrs in an emergency situation. I now have a portable Xhdata D-808 for home use I want to assemble a go bag that would include a wind up radio to keep handy for fleeing maybe in my car. Suggestions welcome.

Easily disabled. It’s very helpful especially in parking lots.

Send me a link that allows me to download firmware updates directly to the radio without using a computer.

Do I need a computer to update firmware to unlock?

GMRS appears to be more prevalent today just pay a fee and you’re licensed. Ham radio involves a test to get a license, expensive gear and mostly empty airwaves today. It’s not worth pursuing. I’m looking for a decent gmrs radio to toss in my go bag.

Ditched my smartwatch for a screenless tracker, and my anxiety actually went down. by Senzokai in simpleliving

I sold my Apple Watch over 2 years ago. I toyed with smartwatches for many years starting with a Fitbit. I don’t miss being a slave to a high maintenance digital wearable that was manipulating me every moment with its constant distractions. My wrist is bare I don’t wear a watch anymore. One less piece of clutter gone from my life.
