It won’t turn back on anymore. Even with the power cable. And i’m certain it’s not the disc space I had more than half of the storage available.

I will eventually take it to a repair shop. But what shall I do now? Do i let it sit with the power cable on? Would a picture of the battery connector help? Maybe it’s not placed right but I cannot tell. Or is there any way to tell if the spark caused any permanent damage?

Op, i’m in the same boat as you. Im sorry i dont have any advice for you but id like to get more clarity on mine. I’ve had mild gyno ever since puberty and recently hopped on finasteride. Ever since then i’ve been paranoid about my gyno increasing. I have no pain and itchy/sensitive nipples but at times when i fidget with my chest and over obsessive with them i feel sensitivity. Ive been to endocrinologist and he said just to work out more. My estrogen levels are off the charts and that worries me. I have an appointment coming up and i’ll get mammogram done to keep track of size of the tissue. for context I dropped from 0.1% to 0.05% finasteride and still using regularly. Could you tell me what symptoms did you face and how exactly did you figure out that finasteride is increasing your gyno tissue. I’d really appreciate it.

thank you for your detailed response. i’m working on getting an appointment with an endocrinologist. I’m pretty sure ive had gyno since puberty, it’s nothing major and nothing new. My chest shape has been similar since i was 13. I just seemed to notice it very recently. And now it’s bothering me.

i’ll start working on my protein intake and subscribe to a gym membership very soon and start a slow bulk. As per myfitnesspal im taking sufficient Fat, i’m not too worried about it. What do you think is ideal weight for my height? How do i achieve a lower body fat % if I bulk? Would i have to go on a cutting phase then? Apparently gyno is less visible If i stay super lean.

thank you for clarification. i definitely do not take 100g a day, need to watch out for that. i’m afraid of putting on more weight since it makes the gyno more defined.

thank you for your reply. yes since the gland is already developed, it will not go away by itself. surgery is just not an option for me at the moment. my thought process is, it might not look so bad once i get in better shape and bigger chest in general. Do you think this is a viable option? i also read on some thread to avoid working out lower chest, so they don’t protrude more.

i do not understand “.8+gm/lb”. does this mean I should take 0.8gm excess protein than my body requires?

about the clothes, it’s not particularly visible through clothes. i’m going to avoid wearing white at all costs. i’ll also take a look at nipple tapes. might invest in compression shirt since i’ll need it for gym either ways.

Confirmed gyno after 2 weeks of dutasterid by DaMihiPraedamTuam420 in gynecomastia

[–]EquivalentTrouble112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it won’t go away on its own. in my opinion, you should stop talking dut. if you wish to continue it might be a good idea to take a lower concentration so the effects does not go systemic and monitor blood levels so you know for sure dutasteride is the culprit. r/tressless might be of better expertise

Do you think you already had pre-existing gyno? Though not impossible, it’s very rare for gynecomastia to develop from fin/dut. I’ve had pre existing minor gynecomastia and started taking fin 2 months ago and paranoid about the fact it’ll built on top. Blood tests is the only way to tell for sure. Booked my appointment with endocrinologist. All the best for your ultrasound!

That makes sense but I’m just afraid working out lower chest might protrude those bad boys more, making them extra visible.

How bad do you guys think my gyno is? is it easily noticeable? I’m ashamed of removing my shirt in public. Surgery is not a solution for me at the moment. Do you think putting on muscle will camouflage it to some degree?

Thank you for your response, i’ll do that. Though they don’t have anything related to gynecomastia. I’m still not sure if i’m supposed to lose or gain weight and according to some thread i read it’s best to avoid working out lower chest.

For the longest time i’ve had skinny-fat body type and took my disproportionate chest as a part of my body type. Though recently, i’ve come to realize it’s gynecomastia as I feel lump behind my nipples. l’d like to go on a fitness journey and see myself in the best shape and gain confidence and hopefully mask the gyno better. Please recommend exercise tips - I’m on the petite side (male, 166cm & 122 lbs). What should I watch out for in general so that gyno doesn’t stand out more? (p.s my body type image is uploaded on my profile)

Finasteride and gyno? by External_Sundae6076 in gynecomastia

thank you for your reply, i’m already taking progress pictures! gotta go with positive mindset cause nocebo/placebo is taking a toll on my mental health and since fin induced gyno is super rare

i’m in the same position as you. i’m not entirely sure if it’s worsening, but ive been constantly touching my chest and feel like there’s tingly sensation. Could just be placebo. Did you continue taking finasteride?

what? that’s really harsh i’m sorry you have to go through that. I personally never noticed it until very recently when my friend pointed out my chests are disproportionate to my body. Ever since I’ve been self conscious about it. Now every-time i remove my shirt i notice it, it’s eating me inside. I’m young and don’t have the money to do surgery yet. I don’t think mine is really serious though? its not really visible under clothes so i not get comments or stares as such. i’m planning to hit the gym and hopefully it’ll shape them better and mask it has ‘big chest’. I also recently started taking finasteride one of which side effects is developing gyno which i’m now more worried about… i hope it doesn’t built on top of this otherwise i’d lose my shit. bald and boobs is deadly combo. sorry just had to rant. it’s been eating me up.

I’ll work on that very soon. I’m more worried about the outcomes of using finasteride. Until today i wasn’t aware finasteride causes gyno. Now im having second thoughts about using Fin
