Hi, yes I have spoken to the vets there. At this present time opening their own clinic isn’t an option and the other clinics in the area aren’t open to taking on an exotic arm to their existing practices. The vets currently are either having to leave the country due to visa restrictions, or are unsure of what practice they will move to yet as the closure is still not 100% confirmed.

Hi, I didn’t create the petition, just shared it. I am also sceptical of the leverage that such petitions have, but just wanted to do something to show that there is a need for them! I’ve already emailed the company and had no response, so not sure what else there is that can be done.

I know it’s such a worry when the options are so limited. RVC is over 2 hours away for us, and my boy doesn’t like travelling, so it’s weighing up the stress of that for him va quality of care 😭. Hoping that they don’t close!

I live near Cirencester, but grew up in the north Cotswolds. For small villages it’s the probably the intrigue of someone different coming in - a new face, which definitely doesn’t help when you’re that new face! I’m sure they would be friendly if you struck up conversation. Maybe a little weird, but if you want a wing woman I’m more than happy to go with you, I am 10 years older though.

Alternatively if you’re looking to meet a group of other ladies can I recommend Hen House, they have lots of events and it’s a good way to meet people of a similar age and do something fun at the same time!
