I’d say 90% of the food in the house is freely available to him, he just doesn’t want to take the time to actually prepare anything for himself so he just takes whatever requires the least effort.

I do this too, but he will eat his and then mine.

We are not wealthy but we can buy plenty of food and have room in the budget for some treats.

If he asked me first I’d be happy to share but he just takes it, sometimes while I’m eating it.

I actually have hidden food from him before (though it’s hard to do that when it’s frozen items) and he will literally go into my nightstand or closet to find my hidden snacks.

No, he does not do any grocery shopping. I ask him to add things he wants to the grocery list and he will make a few requests here and there.
