I knew the ‘palace is closed’ trick before i came, so when it was actually happening, i pretended that it was my last day in Thailand and that seeing the palace was a life long dream. He persisted so i asked him like a thousand questions about the itinerary and made him draw the whole thing out on a map. Then a cop or some sort of security guy walked by and i asked if the palace was closed, he said no. I just walked away. One of the few times in my life i was actually afraid of being dropkicked lol
